The EMEA/ASIA OTM SIG Board Committee is once again delighted to announce that our second annual OTM User Conference in Amsterdam has once again been a great success! We are now gaining experience and becoming more matured in hosting this conference.
This year’s conference saw us attracting an audience of 115 people. This European conference once again brought together representatives of OTM clients from all over Europe and Asia which also included vendors and various teams from Oracle.
For the first time, we hosted the SIG on the back of the Oracle Value Chain Summit; this was done to leverage participants to attend both conferences and also for some key speakers from Oracle who tend to attend both the conferences.
We had a total of 115 registered attendees representing 21 OTM client companies (5 more than last year) and 14 partners (4 less than last year). Prominent clients included Almajdouie Logistics, APL Logistics, Dell, DHL, Fevzi Gandur, GE Power & Water, GE International, IKEA, Kuehne+Nagel, Lenta, Lufthansa, Mazda, Mondelez, Neovia Logistics, Nokia Solutions and Networks, Schenker AG, Schenker Dedicated Services, Sonae, Stora Enso Logistics, Unilever, and UPM, and attending partners companies were Business Reply, Capgemini, CROC, HERE, Inspirage, MavenWire, Oracle, Precision Software, Taris, Tieto, TomTom, TRANSPOREON, Wipro and Xchanging.
The SIG would like to thank Jim Mooney and Derek Gittoes for participating in the SIG and giving their highly valued presentations. We would also like to thank all the sponsors without whose participation the conference would have been very difficult to run. The participation of the user community and some of the initial feedback off the sessions have been very good. We would like to thank all the presenters who took time to give some very high quality presentations. Last but not the least, thanks also goes to our event coordinators (DDG) for their invaluable planning and smooth conduct of the event.
We will definitely organise another conference next year somewhere in Europe, and as successful as it was, we know that there is always scope for improvement. So please register yourself on this website and leave a comment below!
