2014 OTM User Conference

The 2014 OTM User Conference is just five days away! If you have not registered for this event just yet, you have until August 9 to do so. After this date, only on-site registration is available.

For those who have registered, we wanted to take this opportunity to provide you with a little more information regarding the conference before you make your way to Philadelphia.

Conference Mobile App

Access the 2014 OTM User Conference mobile app through your mobile or desktop browser.

After creating your profile, you can then navigate to other functions of the app such as viewing the agenda, the list of conference sponsors and speakers, or interactive maps of the hotel meeting space.

Registration Hours

The conference registration desk will be open during the following hours:

  • Sunday, August 10, 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Monday, August 11, 7:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, August 12, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 13, 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Internet

In-room high speed internet access is included in the room rate. There is also complimentary wireless internet access in the meeting space.

Welcome Reception

There will be a welcome reception on Sunday, August 10, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the exhibit area (Millennium Hall). This is a great chance for you to visit with all of our conference sponsors and learn more about their products and services. Also, this is an opportunity to complete the on-site registration process early and beat the Monday morning crowd.

Closest Major Airport

The Philadelphia International Airport is located approximately 9 miles from the hotel.

Transportation to/from the Airport

Taxi

Taxis are readily available by baggage claim. The rate is approx. $32.00 flat (not including gratuity) to/from hotel/airport (each way).

Lady Liberty Shuttle

Shuttle service is also available by the baggage claim area. The rate is $10.00 per person each way. Arrival reservations are not required.

For departure from the hotel to the airport, it is suggested that guests call Lady Liberty shuttle to confirm a pick up at the hotel, or arrange for the concierge/front desk/doorman to make the arrangements and confirm pick up. The telephone number for Lady Liberty Shuttle is +1 215.724.8888.

Parking at the Hotel

Valet parking is available at the Loews Hotel for $36.00 + 20% tax overnight. Please be sure to let OTM know onsite if you will be parking at the Loews.

Conference Attire

Business causal is the recommended attire for the conference.

Weather in Philadelphia

The 10-day forecast predicts temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to the high-80s with scattered showers on Tuesday, August 12, and Wednesday, August 13.

Don’t forget

You may want to bring the following items with you:

  • Business cards for networking
  • Sweater or light jacket (as meeting rooms tend to be cool)
  • Umbrella

Tuesday Evening Reception

Hosted by Oracle and CSC, an evening reception will be given on Tuesday, August 12, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at Cuba Libre. Space is limited, so call 1.800.820.5592, ext. 12530, by August 8 to RSVP for this exclusive event.
